A Clonliffe team of 4 will travel to Lisbon next weekend to compete in the prestigious European Clubs Cross Country. The rules of the competition have changed with invitations now issuing to the National Champions and Runner up in each federation. Also changing is the number of athletes permitted to run, it’s now a team of 4 with 3 to score.
The Clonliffe team entered is the 4 scorers from November’s National Cross Country: Sean O’Leary, Sergiu Ciobanu, Ian Guiden and Jonny Whan. The team will travel on Friday evening the 4th for the race on Sunday the 6th. We wish them the very best of luck.
