It was a quiet weekend on the roads in Ireland however there were still some Harriers in action overseas. Ben Coughlan made a welcome return to racing, his first in sometime, in the Telford 10k, in the Midlands in England, where he clocked a time of 31.21 to finish in 142nd, this was a high-class race with a top-quality field, with no less than 57 athletes going sub 30 minutes.
Further afield Amy Colton ran a PB in the New York half marathon in Central Park clocking 1:33.07. Also yesterday another of the newer Clonliffe Harriers, Enya Hand, also raced a half, this time in Malaga, Spain and a fine debut it was 1:32.05.
