It was a pretty unique outcome in Belfast last night, Wednesday the 13th, with 3 Clonliffe athletes on the podium of the River Rock Queens 5k. Running in the ‘non-elite/non-championship’ 5K race at the Annadale Embankment 3 young Clonliffe men filled all 3 podium places: 1st Cian Murray (16.30), a 30 second plus PB, 2nd Jack Woods (17.05) and 3rd Andrew Gaffney (17.16), also a PB. Lee Duddy who also travelled as part of the team finished 15th (18.32) and Cillian Sherrin (18.55).
Also last night Lee Maginnis finished 2nd in the Mile Race in the Raheny Winter League in 5.31.
