Clonliffe athletes recorded pbs at today’s IMC Belfast meet at a sun drenched Mary Peter’s Track. In the 1500B race junior Aaron Cullen knocked a whopping 3 seconds off his PB recorded at the All Ireland schools at the start of June finishing 3rd in 3.55.69. A PB also for Ian Guiden running his first 1500 in some 6 years 5th in 3.56.33. In the 800 Cathal Doyle also ran a PB 1.52.01. Daniel Stone also ran a PB in the 5000 (15.49.94). A fine run also in his 5000 by Declan Power finishing 4th in 15 56.30.
Also on Saturday morning Sean Carrigg won the River Valley Park Run in 16.21 in a tough course.
Saturday evening the big race was the Michael Manning 10k in Dunshaughlin Clonliffe results: David Mullen 36.37, Ailish Malone 37.59, Scott Crowley 41.11, Stephen Bateson 41.16, Kerri Page 41.50, Emma Harding 42.27, Stephen Tracey 42.48, Ollie Power 44.19, Emer Brennan 46.15, Anthony O’Brien 52.26.
At the Athletics Ireland Games Keith Marks was 3rd in the long jump (7.16) and Leah Bergin was 4th in the 400 in 59.04.
