We go back to Tuesday the start the Roundup. The ALG 5k corporate challenge to place in Dublin’s docklands on September 10, Fintan Kerins was the 1st Clonliffe athlete home finishing in 3rd place in a time of 15.31. Also Mark McDonald 13th (16.33) and Eamon Harkin (18.46).
Saturday the 14th the Dromiskin took place in Co Louth where Sean Doran finished 5th in 15.24. David Brady was 33rd (18.13).
Also on Saturday there was a sizeable Clonliffe presence at the Ratoath half marathon with Anto Doran leaving the group home in 39th (1:20.11). Full Clonliffe results from Ratoath:

Also on Saturday the was a sighting of a group of Clonliffe Harriers singlets doing a session on the European cross-country course in Brussels. It was subsequently confirmed that these were part of the Clonliffe intermediate men’s group who had taken in the diamond league final over the course of the weekend!
Sunday the 15th the national half marathon took place in Chareville, Co Cork. Pat O’Grady clocked a time of 1:20.26, to take M60 3rd with Garrett Loy 1:22.47.
