Clonliffe women cross the country for Intermediates and Meet & Train

A great bunch of Clonliffe women competed in cross country on both sides of the country. The Intermediate women finished in a credible 5th place (115 points) with Liffey Valley 1st on countback from Crusaders (both 90 points) and GCH 3rd in Tuam, County Galway.

The finishers were 25th Marie Joyce, 26th Louise Caraher, 28th Rachel Wisdom, 36th Maura Matthews, 39th Sinead Hartnett, 43rd Joyce O`Hare, 48th Aisling Andrews, 52nd Kerri Page.

Meanwhile much closer to home today`s round of the Meet & Train cross country league was held in Swords with some fine runs from the black and amber girls: 6th Jen Carpenter, 7th Laura Keegan,  17th,making a welcome return to racing, Kate Purcell, 24th Catherine Dempsey, 25th Emer Brennan, 37th Clare Roche, 41st Yvonne McDonagh, 47th Sue Kelly, 52nd Mandy McMenamy, 53rd Joanne McCabe, 54th Frances Logue, 65th Linda Colgan.
