Clonliffe will hold our annual club Christmas race, followed by athletes of the year awards night, on Saturday, December 16. The night will follow the same successful format of 2022, a combined men and women’s 3000m handicap race in Santry Park, late that afternoon, either on the path or cross country on the 1K loop (depending on the weather conditions). Entry will be by email in advance so that handicaps can be applied. The race will be followed by ‘Captains’ night’ in the club bar when the prize-giving will take place along with the Clonliffe Harriers athletes of the year presentation.
The nominees in the various categories will be announced in early December along with details surrounding the entry system for the cake race itself. In the meantime please put December 16 in your schedule.
At this time any athlete currently holding a club athlete of the year trophy is requested to return it to the club ASAP.
