Great performances over night at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, California by Clonliffe men Alistair Cragg and Dave Flynn. After a road European best over 5,000 in Carlsbad last weekend Cragg doubled up in Stanford and impressively so. 6th in the 1500m 3.42.00 and then an hour or so later 4th in the 5,000 in 13.32.76. Flynner was also flying over the barriers in the 3,000sc running a yet another PB (in 5th in the last month or so!) of 8.49.24 as he closes in on Des McCormack`s club record now only two and a half seconds away.
