Forget earlier posting! As it turned out Davey Davitt’s 4th place in his 400 hurdles heat in 52.51 at the world U/20 Championships in Lima, Peru qualified him for the World championship semi finals. In yesterday’s semi final Davey posted a fine 51.93 as he finished 6th.
Saturday Davey ran the 2nd leg for the Irish 4 x 400 team that finished in a fine 7th place in the final (3.09.73)
