At this weekends New York high school State Championships in Syracuse Davey Davitt won the 400 hurdles division one state championship with a 52.94 run, in the final he finished 2nd in 53.13 becoming the Federation runner-up.
Missed in recent overseas roundups has been the performances of Megan Comiskey in Switzerland. On May 20 Megan finished 1st in the U/20 discus in Pfingstwurf Lachen with a 41.56 best, on May 25 at the Bruhler Mai Meeting she threw 39.08 to finish 4th in the discus and was 6th in the hammer at the meet with a best of 39.60. Last weekend on June 2 in Offene TH/SH Einkampfmeisterschaften she was 4th in the discus with a best of 41.29.
