Day 2 and medals everywhere

May 24, 2008 [Noel Guiden] Day 2 of the Juvenile Dublin Championships dawned and by close of business there was a great collection of medals around the necks of the young Harriers. High lights today included Tom Austin taking Gold in the U/17 1500m having earlier won Discus silver. Dave Fitzmaurice (left) adding U/19 1500m gold to yesterday`s 800 and Leah Bergin`s classey win the the U/15 200m.

Other noteable performances included Gold and Silver in the U/15 hammer from Manuel Curry and Safari Aletch. Shauna Furman in the girls U/18 100m hurdles 1st, Ian Guiden 1st in the U/15 1500m adding to last nights 800m bronze and further golds from Mark Moloney U/15 80m hurdles, Ben Woods U/19 Discus, Zachri Hales U/11 Ball Throw and bronze in the long jump.
