At tonight’s Drogheda mid Summers 5k road race Sean Doran took the win after leading from gun to tape. Over a tough course, the first half was uphill, Sean held a good lead but with 500m to go was almost caught but managed to hold off the 2nd place finisher by a second in a time of 16.01. David Brady was 14th in 17.51. Laura Tuite ran a new PB of 19.27 43rd overall and 7th woman.
