Double tops and PB’s all round in Termonfeckin (plus round up)

It was a most successful trip to Termonfeckin, county Louth for this morning’s R-Ace 5k road race for the Clonliffe crew with Mahad Egaal 1st man in 14.34 and Helena Butterly 1st woman in 16.55, 7th place overall. Both very classy times indeed. For good measure Ben Guiden finished 3rd also in a PB of 14.50. In fact it was PB’s all-round for Aisling Killelea 19.15, Chloe Heaslip 19.30, Katie Halpin 19.36, Amy Colton 19.54, Jess Laflamme Yonkman 20.04, Andrew D’Arcy 21.57 and Sarah Owens 22.18.

On the subject of PBs, in addition to Efrem’s PB and Irish record, Eoin Maguire also ran a 10k PB in Valencia, 33.44.

Also today the first BHAA Cross Country race of the year, the Bank of Ireland 6k race in Tymon Park: Mel Curran 1st W40, Yvonne McDonagh 3rd W50 and Diarmuid Doyle 6th M65. Full results on http://bhaa.ie
