Cathal Doyle is flying Stateside now that injury is behind him. Two weeks back Cathal posted a new 5000 PB and last night (April 15th) returned to his favoured 1500. At last night’s Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa Pacific University, California finishing 3rd he ran a brilliant PB of 3.38.05. This was a new University of Portland record and also moves him up the Clonliffe all time rankings to no. 4, behind Dave Taylor 3rd 3.37.58, Alistair Cragg 2nd 3.36.18 and Niall Bruton 1st 3.35.67.
Missed from the USA results last week, on April 9th Sean Kay ran a new 5000 PB of 14.23.37 in the Yale V Harvard match in New Haven. Also at that meet Aaron Cullen continued his come back after a long series of injuries with his 2nd race in as many years clocking 4.08.07 over 1500.
