Dublin graded sees Kenneally back on track

Stephen Bateson reports: On a drizzly night in Morton stadium there were 10 Clonliffe Athletes in action in Meeting 6 of the Dublin Graded series.

In the throwing events there was success for Rory Gunning who was first in the javelin with a throw of 58.56 m, while Frances Mansfield was 4th in the Women’s discuss with 14.49 m effort.

In the Sprints, Joshua Morgan  was 4th in the Grade A 100m in 11.43 just ahead of Keith Marks in 11.46.

In the 800 m Grade A, Aaron Cullen finished in 1.55.90 in 4thplace in a high calibre race won by John Travers (Donore Harriers) clocking another PB.

In the 800 m Grade B, Eoghan Murphy was 5th in 2.07.82 and Niall Sherlock finished 8th in 2.16.36.

In the 5000m Grade a, Mark Kenneally made a welcome return to the track Stadium and ran a strong race to finish 3rd in 14.55, Stephen Cashin (18th) performed well to finish in a solid 16.08.22 while Thomas Sherlock (20th) came home in 6.17.69.
