The track season is well and truly underway as the first Dublin Graded Meet took place in the Morton Stadium last night. Stuart Roche enjoyed a great start to the season as he took a win in grade A race 2 of the 200 in 23.00. Christopher Sibanda took the win in race 1 in 22.29. In Grade C race 3 Ronan Gately was 6th in 27.45.
Snezana Bechtina was 2nd in Grade A race 2 in 25.53, while Emma Kelly was 2nd in grade B in 26.82.
Ian Rogers took the pole vault win with a best of 4.70m, while Frances Mansfield threw 14.87m in the hammer.
There were only two of our athletes in the 1500m, Tom Sherlock who ran 4.16.66 and Paul Courtney (4.30.5).
The next graded meet is May 6th featuring 100, 800, 3,000, long jump, high jump and shot putt.
