Well now, Summer must be on the way. This Sunday, April 27th, the juvenile’s track and field season opens with the 1st round of the Dublin juvenile league (age groups U/10 – U/16) in Tallaght. On offer on the track race distances from 400 up to 1500 and in the field events long jump, shot, javelin and turbo javelin for the younger age groups.
The instructions from Dublin Athletics are to request as much carpooling as possible as parking can present difficulties in Tallaght. Car parking on Sunday is limited in St Marys Primary school and TAC. Alternatively car parking may be found in the industrial estate of the Airton Road, a 10 minute walk to the track. Please do not to park on footpaths or cycle lanes on the Greenhills Road, as you may well find your car ticketed or worse again, towed away!
