Dublin Juveniles: hat tricks for Caitlin and Joseph

The Dublins concluded today in Tallaght with Clonliffe athletes again providing quality performances all round. The performances of two athletes in particular merit special mention. First Caitlin O`Reilly who competed a hat trick of Dublin titles with a superb win in the U/15 100m, winning by a margin of 5m to add this title to her 200 and long jump from yesterday. A hat trick was also completed by Joseph Hession as he added the U/16 3000 to his 800 and 1500.

The 3000s proved a happy hunting ground for Clonliffe today, in addition to Joseph`s U/16 gold, Sean Carrigg won the U/17 title, Josh Stubbs with his trade mark kick won the U/18 title and Hope Saunders the girls U/18. Medals were also won in the 3000 by Alex Hogan U/16 silver, Kevin McKenna U/17 bronze, Cathal Doyle U/18 silver and Niall Norman U/18 bronze.

Greg Hosseny (above) won the U/17 race walk. Ella Brown was 1st in the U/13 long jump. Rebecca Fitzsimons 3rd in the U/14 100m. (Full results not yet to hand. update soon)
