Nov 2, 2008 [Jeremy Walsh] The Dublin Senior and Junior Cross Country Championships took place today in fine conditions at St. Anne’s Park in Raheny.
Our Junior Ladies got the day off to a good start taking team bronze.

In the Junior Men’s race, David Flynn (pictured) laid out his intentions early on, building up a substantial lead from the off. In the end he won by almost 30 seconds. Eoin McDonnell had a great run to take individual bronze, with the lads packing well behind him to take team gold.

In the Senior Men’s race over 10k Sergiu Turea led the team to a bronze medal. Not far behind him, on his trip back from Stuttgart, Cian McLoughlin was his usual consistent self with a comfortable 8th place finish.
