Efrem Gidey had another extraordinary run tonight in the European 10,000m Cup in Pace, France. This was Efrem’s 1st senior international vest for Ireland and he ran a huge PB of 28.01.50 to finish in 6th place. Efrem’s time is also a European championship qualifying standard (28.15), it places him 12th on the Irish all time list and 2nd in the Clonliffe Harriers all-time list.
Clonliffe’s other representative at the 10,000 cup was Emma Mitchell who finished 29th in the women’s A race in a season’s best of 34.32.39.
