Overnight, March 16, Efrem Gidey was back on the track racing the 10,000 in ‘ The Ten’ track meet in San Juan, Capistrano, California. Efrem ran a new PB of 27.53.14 as he finished in 6th position in a race won by Drew Hunter (USA) in 27.38.87. As a matter of interest Hunter competed in the Morton mile in Santry a few years back. That places Efrem 8th on the Irish 10,000 all time list.
