Efrem Gidey was simply outstanding in last night’s elite race at the Night of the 10,000 pb’s in Highgate, London clocking a time of 27.40.02 as he finished in 9th position. That time is 0.45 off Alistair Cragg’s Irish, and Clonliffe, record and is the 2nd fastest time ever recorded by an Irish athlete.
