Efrem Gidey affirmed his return with a win in today’s Raheny 5 mile in 24.41. This was Efrem”s first open race in some time after a frustrating period of injury. Next in for Clonliffe was Cathal McHale 28.02 and Declan Power 28 07. In all there were 52 Clonliffe finishers, too many to report on here, however a mention must be made of the women’s W40 team of Ailish Maone, Siobhan Devanney and Venesa Fenton who placed 3rd, full results are now on myrunresults.com.
In the girls U/16 mile Rebecca Walsh was an excelled 3rd with Mia O’Reilly not far off in 5th place.
