At tonight’s big Road Race in Kilcock, the St Cocas 5k, Efrem Gidey ran away from the field winning in a time of 13.47 to obliterate club mate Ian Guiden’s course record set last year by a whopping 25 seconds. Efrem’s winning margin was some 55 seconds. Stephen Cashin continued his excellent season with a third-place finish in a PB of 14.43. In 15th position and 1st junior man was Mahad Egaal Jadda (15.23), next in and 3rd junior man, was Lorcan Benjacar (15.33), also a PB. Laura Tuite ran her second PB of the week 17.35.
