A fine win for Efrem Gidey on the streets of Paris on a wet and windy day in the French capital early this morning. Efrem won the Les 10k de la Tour Eiffel in a nice 28.52 well clear of 2nd place.
Aside from that it’s been a quiet weekend for Clonliffe athletes. Mahad Egaal was fastest in the Poppintree Parkrun in 15.58, not a bad time at all in a gale force wind.
Also on Saturday in England Liam Roarty running for Gateshead Harriers placed 29th in the North East Counties Championships held in Temple Park, South Shields.
