Emily in her resume said: “I am a middle distance and cross country athlete. When not training or studying I enjoy reading, swimming, going out with my friends, watching television and clothes shopping. My best sporting memories include achieving the U/18 European Athletics championship 1500 standard (4.24.31) in May last year and winning the U/20 Autumn Open International cross country in October. Other favourites include watching and meeting great Irish athletes like Fionnuala McCormack, Phil Healy and Sophie O’Sullivan. I have been coached since the age of 6 by my dad and have many fond memories of training with MSB in Porterstown. I recently moved to Clonliffe Harriers who have been very welcoming and supportive while providing excellent training facilities. I would also like to thank Jacqui Freyne and the Athletics Ireland High Performance Pathway for their support. My goals for 2025 include achieving the 1500 standard for the EYOF and the U/20 European Athletics Championships.”
