Clonliffe Harriers are pleased to confirm that the club’s 2024 club cross country championships will take place in Santry Park, thanks to the kind permission of Fingal, on the morning of Saturday, September 21. The senior race will incorporate both the club U/20 and masters championship. This will be a ‘mass’ start race for both men and women and will incorporate all 3 championships for both. The U/20 men and women will run 4500m (approx.) with the seniors/masters running over 6000m (approx.) – the event will be run over a 1500m (approx.) loop meaning 3 laps for the U/20s and 4 laps for everyone else. Please note the U/20 race is for all athletes who are aged 16 now or turn 16 before the end of this year.
Entry is now open – as per the usual entry procedure, please ask your coach to email your name and the race you are entering – i.e. junior, senior, master – entries to: events.clonliffeharriersac@gmail.com if you do not train with a club group you can of course enter by following the same procedure.
Closing date for entries is Wednesday, September 18, unfortunately late entries cannot be accepted.

10.50am Race 1: U/9 to U/11 Girls, 700m
11.00 am Race 2: U/9 to U/11 Boys, 700m
11.10am Race 3: U/12 & U/13 Girls & Boys, 1,000m
11.20am Race 4: U/14 to U/16 Girls & Boys, 1500m
11.30am Race 5: combined start U/20, Senior and Masters Women & Men, U/20 4,500m. Seniors/Masters, 6000m
The club would very much appreciate the support of our athletes for these championships and we also request that all participants wear their club colours.
