Cake Race and Athletes of the year Awards

The annual Clonliffe Christmas Cake Race takes place on Thursday December 21st in Santry – starting on the track and finishing on the track after loop through Northwood.

All junior/senior/master club members wishing to take part in either the women or men’s race should text their name and 5K time (if available), in the case of women to Pamela – 086 150 3015 and men text Joe – 087 225 6004 by Tuesday at latest.

After the Cake Race prize presentation from 9.00pm the club will honor our National Champions, Club Record breakers and the Clonliffe Athletes of the year. The Clonliffe Athletes of the Year is once again generously sponsored by Loki Sports.

The nominees are:

Men Track & Field: Brian Gregan, Stephen Rice, Jeremy Phillips

Men Road/Cross Country: Stephen Scullion, Gary O`Hanlon, Sergiu Ciobanu

Women Track & Field: Snezana Bechtina, Leah Moore, Ciara McCallion

Women Road/Cross Country: Winner to be announced on the night

Junior Athlete: Greg Hosseny, Alannah Cooley, Craig Giles

Master Athlete: Snezana Bechtina, Declan Power, Gary O`Hanlon

Clonliffe Harrier of the Year: Winner announced on the night.

Presentations will be made to our senior 2017 National Champions:
