Fit4Life group wraps up, and looks forward to ’25

The second training block of our beginners fit4life group wrapped up on the 16th of
December. Spanning some good weather in late September to some cold and damp
evenings in November, the group of 30 or so members diligently put in the miles and
kilometers over that time and saw the rewards. One of those rewards being the possession
of a coveted Clonliffe 2-mile race t-shirt, justly deserved for a windy day’s effort in mid October.

Many saw their local parkrun times dropping consistently and more importantly
their general fitness improving over the course of the 12 weeks or so. Some of the group
now at a fitness level to allow them to move across into one of Clonliffes other training
groups.

After a well-deserved social night on the 18th of December and a break over the holiday
period, the group resumes training again from the 8th of January. Training on Monday and
Wednesday evenings, we cater for all ranges of beginners’ ability from walk/joggers to
steady runners and everything in between. So, if you’re looking to start off the new year on
