Stephen Bateson reports: the National 10 mile Championship took place in the Phoenix Park on Saturday the 13th there was success for Dave Flynn who lead from start to finish to take the national title. His official time was 49.55.
Karl Nolan ran a pb in 57.08, and the team was made up of 3rd finisher Dave Mullen in 61.45. The team was placed 4th in the Senior team placings.
Philip O Doherty was 4th O55 in an impressive 63.58.
Other finishers were Dave Brady in 64.46, Shane Caffrey in 66.03.
The ladies were lead home by Eimear Griffin in 70.41, followed by Mary Ketterer in 72.05.
