Athletics Ireland yesterday announced the Irish team that will contest this weekend`s European Team Championships. The team includes four Clonliffe athletes. Ciara McCallion in the 4×400, Ian Rogers in the Pole Vault, Keith Pike in the 4×100 and Brian Gregan 400 and 4×400.
Ireland compete in League 1 in Tallinn, Estonia and will face Estonia, Belarus, Greece, Norway, Romania, Portugal, Finland, Belgium, Hungary, Slovenia and Lithuania during the two-day competition, with the top three finishing teams earning a promotion to the following year’s Super League.
