Francois collects first gold for Clonliffe plus more

Francois Coroller bagged his first individual medal today at the Northern Ireland Track and Field Championships at the Mary Peters’ Track taking gold in the 200, in a tie, in a new pb of 21.84. Earlier Francois had clocked 21.96 in his heat to qualify for the final.

In the 100 Leo Morgan was 2nd in 10.64.

Also today Dave Fitzmaurice ran a very impressive marathon in Minnesota, USA clocking a PB of 2:17.02, placing him 7th on the Clonliffe all time list after the classic negative split, 1st half in 68.56, 2nd in 68.06.

Last night Fintan Kerins won the Dublin Pride 5k in the Phoenix Park in 16.19.
