Gary O’Hanlon successfully defended his Cork city marathon title this morning. Gary made his move at the 18 mile mark pulling away from the pack to win in a time of 2.21.42. In third place was Sergiu Ciobanu in a time of 2.28.26.
Another of the Clonliffe Marathon men, David Flynn was also racing over the weekend. Flynner ran in the Matton Ceste Budejovic Half Marathon in the Czech Republic finishing 11th in 68.42 yesterday.
