Gary and Sergiu 2nd & 3rd lead Clonliffe to National Marathon title

Gary O`Hanlon put up a great defence of his National Marathon title on the Streets of Dublin this morning, although in the end the title was relinquished to Mick Clohesy of Raheny, Gary took silver in a new PB of 2.17.11. Chasing all the way was Sergiu Ciobanu who was 3rd in the National in 2.17.29 and 5th with an impressive debut of 2.19.49 was David Flynn.

These three with a combined time of 6.54.28 retained the team title for Clonliffe with Raheny 2nd on 6.58.10 and Clonmel AC lead by ex Clonliffe man David Mansfield 3rd
