Gary wins National 50k yet again, plus round up

Gary O’Hanlon was once again crowned National 50k Champion. At today’s race in Donadea Gary was first past the post in a new Irish record of 2.49.13 (some going for 31 and a quarter miles!) all of 23 minutes clear of the field. The race is 10 x 5k laps with Gary’s splits: 17.08, 16.28, 16.37, 16.37, 16.42, 16.50, 16.59, 17.12, 17.28, 17.07.

Young Aimee Daly ran 25.20 for 48th place, 13th woman, in the Fly High Lily Remembrance 5k in the Phoenix Park this morning.
