There was an outstanding performance by Craig Giles in Tullamore today at the All Ireland Schools in the U/16 mile. Running a mature race Craig remained in the pack as the break away leader was reeled in with 600 to go and then got himself into a medal challenging position at the bell. The reward was superb silver!
Also in action was Greg Hosseny the Mauritian Express won bronze in the senior race walk. Sean Carrig put in a spirited effort in the senior boys 2000 sc and ended up just out of the medals in 4th position.
