Glorious weekend round up

On a truly glorious Saturday Clonliffe athletes have been in action on the hills, roads and tracks. Declan Power won the Glenmore Challenge 10 Mile in the Cooley Mountains, needless to say it was a hot and hilly course, Declan won in 57.29 with David Brady 11th (66.53).

In Bohermeen for the Patrick Bell 5k Sean doran was 9th (16.25), 10th Eoin Taggart (16.26), 190th Aine McCann (21.55).

Also today the Northern Ireland Track & Field Championships at the Mary Peters Track, Keith Marks 2nd in long jump with a huge 7.51, however the wind was a tad over the legal limit (+2.2), Keith also placed 6th in the 100 final (11.26). Silver in the 100 Leah Moore (12.17). In the 400 Mark McDonald ran 51.70 in his heat.

Meanwhile, having their cake and eating it, the Wild Bunch in ALSAA, post session celebrating Fogo`s ??? birthday (he says he`s a certain age, we think he`s older!!)
