Several of the club`s Junior and U/23 athletes competed in the Nationals today in Cork. Caoimhe Morris had a very successful day winning the U/23 Discus title and finishing 2nd in the hammer (42.75). In the U/23 100 Keith Pike took silver (10.76) Isreal Ibeanu was 7th in the 200 (22.64)
In the juniors Aaron Hanlon was 2nd in the 1500 in 3.54.68, 2nd also for Ryan Whelan in the javelin with a best of 51.72, while Andrew Heney was 3rd (loosing out on silver on count back) in the high jump with 2.00m. Simon Galligan was 6th in the hammer (52.37)
