The BMC Grand Prix in Watford on Sunday evening, June 30th, attracted some top class athletes including a number of Clonliffe members. There were a couple of season`s best performances from the club`s athletes. Eleanor Alexander had an sb in the 1500 finishing 8th in race B in 4.30.14. Becky Woods was 4th in race C in 4.31.38. In the 800 Mark McDonald also ran a season`s best of 1.54.95 and Mark Kenneally continues to race himself back to fitness placing 7th in the 5,000 race A in 14.14.94.
