A belated presentation of the Clonliffe Women’s track & field 2024 athlete of the year was made in Morton Stadium today to Grace Casey. Last Summer Grace really rediscovered her form that outdoor season, in the national championships in Santry she was very much up against it but in the final round pulled out all the stops to propel herself up the leaderboard to grab national silver in the javelin with a throw of 43.99 which was also a Clonliffe Harriers club record. Grace was back in Dublin from Sligo training in the stadium giving the opportunity to make today’s presentation.
