2022 Grand Prix Series

To date 13 races are now completed in this year’s GP Series.  4 races remain to take place (see Table below). Given the difficulty in scheduling races this year’s Series will not now conclude until January 2023.

The Club has been grateful for the level of athlete participation in this year’s Series , the support of the Club’s coaches and the Club members who have volunteered at Race Officials.

The Club would like to hold the 4 Mile Walker Cup on Saturday 10 December . As this is a track race it is proposed to hold the race at ALSAA in Dublin Airport. There are two cross country races to take place namely, the Irwin and Horan Cups. It is now proposed to hold these on the 14th and 28th of January 2023 in Santry Demesne. The Irwin cup will be run in conjunction with the Club Cross Country Championships that day.

Stewards for Clonliffe 2

If you are not competing this Sunday could you volunteer to assist in stewarding the  Clonliffe 2 Mile. As the race this year is taking place on public roads we are anxious to have sufficient volunteer officials. If you could attend at the Gravediggers at 10.15am on Sunday morning for a Safety briefing and allocation of duties that would be most appreciated.
