Mick Kearney: The 2023 Grand Prix Series has seen the completion of four of the scheduled five early season races over the past few weeks. The fifth race the O’Connor Cup 4 Miles takes place this Thursday 1st June at 8pm in Santry Demesne.
The numbers joining the Series has been steadily increasing and to date 56 athletes have taken part.
Entries for the Series are still being taken as there are 12 races between now and the end of the year.
The points achieved in the best 10 races are used to determine prize winners.
The points achieved by all participants to date are outlined on the attached word document.

Next Race The O’Connor Cup 4 Miles takes place on grass in Santry Demesne this Thursday at 8pm. All those who have run previously will be pre-entered for this race. The prize giving will take place in the Clonliffe Harriers Club House after the race where light refreshments will be provided.
Car Parking/Stadium: Please note that while the track refurbishment continues there is very limited car parking in the stadium. Please car pool, walk, run or bus it if at all possible. Also under no circumstances must anyone come beyond the fencing. The track, which is currently being lined, is absolutely out of bounds. Regrettably anyone coming onto the track area will be asked to leave. Please, we all appreciate that everyone is curious, remain patient. We’re nearly there!
