At tonight`s Belast International at the Mary Peters Track Clonliffe`s Brian Gregan was bettered by 800m man Mark English (UCD), Gregan finishing 2nd in 46.92. Kris Valters had a positive run as he ran 1.50.46 in the international 800 placing 7th, Mark McDonald was 6th in the B race (1.54.67). Becky Woods will be disappointed with her night running 2.13.51, down considerably on her recent form. Brandon Hargreaves, having won on the roads in the Irish Runner 5 Mile on Saturday was 7th in the 5,000 in 14.23.51, Brian MacMahon was 12th in 14.50.69.
