Cloniffe duo Brian Gregan and Timmy Crowe, who have been putting in a solid block of work at warm weather training in Florida, got their season`s underway last night at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational at the University of Florida. Gregan recorded a time of 47.30 in his race and Crowe 48.17. Unfortunately Dara Kervick picked up an injury and has come home for treatment.
Also this weekend Declan Murray kicked off his season in Princeton at the Larry Ellis Invitational placing 7th in his 800 in 1.49.00.
