Clonliffe’s Greta Streimikyte has been selected by Paralympics Ireland to compete in the T13 1500 at the European Para Athletics Championships which take place in Bydgoszcz, Poland from June 1st to 5th. The team of 6 was announced today by James Nolan.
Greta is a two time medalist at these Europeans having won gold in 2018 and bronze two years earlier in her debut championships for Ireland. At the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016 Greta made the T13 1500 final where she just missed out on a medal placing 4th. Next month’s championships will provide vital international competition on the road to the Tokyo Games.
