Young Clonliffe Harrier Aaron Hanlon ran a fine pb of 15.01.18 in this afternoon`s IMC Meet in Greystones, knocking some 20 plus seconds off his previous best set in the North Leinster Schools. It was a brave effort at European Junior 5000 QT , with Aaron on target at 3000 but finding himself running all alone for the final 2,000 in windy enough conditions. There was a Clonliffe one two in the women`s 1500m: 1st Eleanor Alaxander 4.30.59 with Becky Woods a fraction behind in 4.30.9. A win also in the 200 from Stuart Roche 22.71 as well as a 2nd place in a new pb of 11.22 in the 100. Kris Valters was 3rd in the 800 (1.54.74), while Edgar Sumskis ran 4.01.38 in the 1500m.
