A really fun morning in the Morton Stadium for the young Clonliffe juvenile athletes as Deric Hartigan, of Ireland AM joined Clonliffe Harriers as part of this the buildup to Friday night’s Morton Games. Clonliffe and the magnificent Morton Stadium featured in the broadcasts throughout the morning, numbering 7, from 7 AM until 9:30 AM. The young Clonliffe athletes were put through their paces by the juvenile coaches with a series of drills, javelin practice and shot put. Deric also interviewed Clonliffe international athletes Grace Casey, who challenged Deric to throw the javelin and Cathal Doyle who ended up in a 50m dash with Deric. Both Grace and Cathal will be competing in Morton Games on Friday night, as indeed will many of the juvenile athletes in the juvenile relays which will open Morton Games.
