Athletics Ireland have confirmed that our Ladies team of Caroline Dobbyn, Aisling Coppinger and Ladies Captain Bronagh Ni Bhriainhave retained their National Marathon title.
The National Marathon was held in conjunction with the Dublin City Marathon. The cumulative time of our three ladies was 571.15, a comprehensive victory over Tallaght AC who finished with 633.07 with Donore Harriers 3rd in 649.14.
A magnificent achievement which means that our new member Caroline adds team gold to her individual bronze.
Our Men’s Senior team placed sixth in the Nationals on a combined total of 537.06. National champions are, not unexpectedly, Letterkenny AC.
