The seventh Dublin Graded Meet took place in Tallaght Stadium on Wednesday, July 15th, apologies for the delay in reporting. Patrick O’Connor continues to make great strides now that he is back racing again and recorded a first place finish in Grade A of the Men’s 100 in a time of 11.27. Killian O’Malley was 6th in Grade B (11.77). In Grade C Race 2 Ronan Gateley was 5th in 13.29.
Some good performances by the Clonliffe Ladies in the 400 with a double win at Grade B, Leah Bergin winning Grade B Race 1 in 60.72 with Emma Kelly 1st in Grade B Race 2 59.78, Sarah Doyle finished 4th in 68.17 (for whatever reason the result of the Women’s 400 Grade A is not available).
In the 1500m races Josh Stubbs was a 6th place finisher in the 1500 Grade A Race 1 (4.09.7). Cathal Doyle had a fine run in Grade A Race 2 finishing 3rd in 4.02.31 while in Grade D Thomas Frayne was 7th in 4.52.55.
In the field events David Donegan won the pole vault (4.40) and Frances Mansfield was in action once again in the hammer placing 7th with a best of 48.75.
