At tonight’s NIA Live series in Abbotstown Marcus Lawler continued his transition to the 400 finishing 2nd behind Mark English in a new PB of 47.50. François Coroller ran another sub 50 as he won his heat in 49.49. Leah Bergin ran 58.71 while placing 3rd in her 400. In the 60 Keith Pike was 3rd in 7.09.
In the middle distance races Greta Streimikyte ran an excellent 2.16.27 over 800 finishing 2nd in her race. Edel Maguire having spent all day officiating in the storm at the Leinster Schools XC was also racing in the 800, 2.55.49. Finally in the 1500 Darren O’Dwyer ran his second PB of the week 4.11.25.
Also tonight at Lee Valley in England Luke Lennon Ford ran a 400 SB of 47.80.
